As part of our application to have the Northern Inuit dog recognised by the Kennel Club we are required to submit details of the health and behaviour of our population. TIDA is committed to improving the breed and ensuring that we are breeding dogs free from any potential health or behavioural problems. In order that we can assess the Northern Inuit population as a whole we need the help of as many owners as possible, whether part of our Association or not. We would therefore appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete our questionnaire – please feel free to add any relevant comments at the end. If you have already completed a survey in the past it would be appreciated if you could submit another one, to update us on the situation as your dog matures. If you have submitted a survey form to the NIS please could you also complete TIDA’s form, since although we are willing to make our findings available to the NIS to help the breed as a whole, they are not reciprocating our offer. Information will be used in conjunction with our computer programme to make a genetic map of the breed. Please answer as honestly as possible. You may remain anonymous if you wish or you can give details of your name/address at the end of the survey – a photocopy of your dog’s pedigree together with a photo of your dog would be useful but is not obligatory. If you do send a photo could you please indicate on the form whether or not we have your permission to use this photo and your dogs’ details in the KC application – Thanks.
