The following is the
judges critique for the Inuit Dog Associations show held at Windmill
Farm, Burscough on 8th September 2007. I very much enjoyed my day out
at this friendly show & my introduction to your breed has been a
positive one. Some exhibits were not placed as highly as they might
have been owing to the poor movement they displayed, particularly with
their hind movement demonstrating weak hocks. Coats were a problem in
some as quite a few had no undercoat. I found their temperaments to
be friendly & happy, so important in a breed.
PUPPY WALK 1 Kaliska
Very much a baby but with a good basic frame to built on. Level
topline, good neck & nicely angulated throughout. Considering age
moved very well keeping elbows well in.
SPECIAL YEARLING 1
Sapphire I liked the make of this bitch, she had a good outline which
she maintained on the move. Pleasing head, oval shaped eyes, erect
ears. Friendly, happy disposition. Her colour may not be correct but
she has quality.
STUD DOG 1 Honahoa
Well off for bone but would not like him to have any more. Has a
pleasing head with a good eye. Slightly longer in coat than most &
would prefer a thicker undercoat.
BROOD BITCH 1 Echo
Very pleasing bitch. She has a good turn of stifle & moves well
driving strongly from behind & covering the ground well. A strong
neck & good head with an alert expression. Shown in good condition.
OPEN DOG 1 Skye In
his first class he would not move & so threw away his chances. Had
settled well for this class & covered the ground very well. Erect
ears, good neck & pleasing shoulder angulation. Requires some ring
training.
OPEN BITCH 1 Natasha
of Taski A quality bitch who moved with drive covering the ground
effortlessly. She has a strong neck & enough slope to shoulder with
tight elbows. A broad croup & a good tail carridge.
