My name is Carol and I live in Yorkshire on the coast with my long suffering husband ( he's surrounded by dogs and answers the phone and takes messages when I'm out ) and four dogs. Two Northern Inuit dogs, Sansorrella Seneca ( Iyeska ) and Mahlek Inuk ( Nukka ), a Border Collie called Chloe and a black rescue dog of uncertain origin called Jezz who most of you have met if you go to NI dog shows as he's always with us! I have trained five dogs in competition obedience and two in agility and have had dogs all my life, sometimes only one sometimes more depending on where I lived. Five years ago I lost my white Shepherd x Samoyed Khyme and was searching for a new dog to train for obedience competitions. Then I heard about the Northern Inuit dog and fell in love. Since then my life has been completely taken over by them! The training of my own dogs has suffered a bit as I am kept so busy with the phone, internet and mail. Four years ago I started work as Registrations Officer for the Northern Inuit Dogs and have been doing the job ever since. I am also conducting my own research into the breeds history and origins which I started in 2002 for my own benefit as I wanted to learn as much about our dogs as possible. I have spoken to and met some very nice and interesting people over the last five years who have been very helpful to me and also lots of lovely members. In between everything else I am trying to write a book! Hopefully I will find time to finish it !! LOL The dogs and I love going to shows and are out and about all Summer so we hope to meet you all sometime during the year. Meanwhile give me a ring anytime for a chat - I love talking to people and hearing about their dogs! Photos are also welcome! See you around Carol
